We had lovely evening. I can see that Charlie's could be very festive of it gets full. We had the smoked salmon bruschetta and salt and pepper squid for starters. Fish and chips and mushy peas for main and bitterballen for the Mrs. Banana and chocolate spring roll for dessert. I can also recommend the Harbour American Pale Ale. Invited to supper on a Friday night, not knowing what to expect, & my husband and I were pleasantly surprised! Loved the décor & ambiance, our waitress was friendly & attentive, & the food was superb. I had the beef burger with potato wedges - a substantial, satisfying, tasty meal that would give some of Cape Town's burger joints a run for their money. The wedges were SO GOOD, I'd go back just for them! Well done, Charlie's, keep it up!!!

Upmarket yet casual. Relaxed ambience with great service. Reasonably priced, varied menu. Food freshly prepared and portions are decent. Tasty, quality ingredients. Great views and safe plentiful parking. The stunning gas flame patio heaters are fabulous for the winter chill. Smoking and non smoking, areas. Highly recommended.
